Therapy Styles:
As a cognitive and dialectical behavioral, solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support with insight and feedback to help clients address current challenges and long-standing issues. With sensitivity and compassion, I help individuals bring resolution to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues. I draw from a selection of styles and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual. Together we work to identify and build on client strengths and achieve life goals. My previous career had me overseas and on the East Coast. After working in higher education for over a decade I wanted to be more clinically prepared for the issues that I saw everyday. I now work with clients with many concerns including: Depression and Anxiety (including postpartum), Panic Attacks and Phobia, PTSD, Returning Military and families, Grief & Loss (including miscarriage), Stress Management, Addiction & Recovery (substance abuse and gambling), New mom, Parenting Issues, Conflict Resolution, Relationship issues. My work experience includes OHSU, Kaiser and CODA. I started my private practice this year while volunteering at Baby Blues Connection and the Dougy Center.

Areas of Expertise:
I believe that therapy can be the bridge to help one get to the place they want to be. We all can use some support in dealing with depression, anxiety, life changes or even to communicate better. I offer a safe, warm environment to help you help yourself with these challenges. I love my work and invite you to contact me.

Other information:

I believe in the motto: Be Kind- Everyone you know is fighting some kind of hard, uphill battle.
